National Donor Day

This Valentine’s Day, show some heart by celebrating National Donor Day.

Since 1998, this annual observance has shined a spotlight on organ, tissue, marrow, platelet, and blood donation—and the people who make it possible. You can support the donors and their families who made the decision to give the gift of life to thousands of people in the U.S. and the medical professionals who made it possible. Because of their generosity, 2019 saw more lifesaving transplants in the U.S. than any year in history.

Signing up is the ultimate gift of heart and hope to the 113,000 people currently on the national transplant waiting list. One donor can save up to eight lives and enhance the lives of up to 75 individuals!

Join the celebration and sign up online today. Remember to tell your family and loved ones about your decision to donate. Learn more about organ donation and how to register at organdonor.gov and donaciondeorganos.gov
