Dr. Mark E. Van Wormer, MD, RVT, RDCS
Dr. Van Wormer is a skilled family practice, in-patient and emergency room physician who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1980. Dr. Van Wormer also did a rotation surgical internship in 1981 with York Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Van Wormer is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He trained for diagnostic, cardiac and vascular ultrasounds, is American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certified to perform echo cardiography and vascular ultrasounds, as well as general, OB, and abdominal ultrasounds. Dr. Van Wormer is also a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), the Society of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound (SDMS) and the Society of Vascular Ultrasound (SVU).
Dr. Van Wormer came here in 1981. He met "the love of his life," Lori in Albuquerque in early 1995 and they married October 22, 1995. They have a darling little dog named Tazzie whom they adore.
