Megan Wood was raised in Logan, New Mexico. Active in High School sports and other activities, she played volleyball, basketball, ran track, and was a member of the FFA.

Since 2016, Union County General Hospital has been honored to have Megan working here. Whether working in inpatient, outpatient, home health, or school settings, she is compassionate and personable as a therapist and strives to ensure the best outcomes for all her patients.

Also in 2016, Megan married Gus Wood who was born and raised in Clayton, NM. In June 2018, the couple welcomed their son, Bryce to their family.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys watching Texas Tech athletics and hitting the ski slopes in Red River.

For her undergraduate education, she went to Texas Tech University and West Texas A & M University. She graduated from WTAMU in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Summa Cum Laud Honors.

Next, Megan earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
