Dr. Joseph Marino, DPM

Dr. Joseph Marino is the podiatrist at our Specialty Clinic. Dr. Marino started his journey in medicine at age 38 after a career in fire service and metal fabrication. He retired as Fire Commander of Monroe Township, New Jersey before receiving a degree in Biological Science from Rutgers University, and earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from New York College of Pediatric Medicine Harlem. He then went on to be the chief resident of Podiatric Surgery at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York.

After Dr. Marino completed his residency in 1997, he practiced in Montana for 13 years before coming to Artesia, New Mexico in search of warmer climates, where he has been for the last 12 years. His lifelong passion for helping others shines through in his work and he enjoys providing excellent surgical care to his patients.

In his free time, Dr. Marino is an outdoorsman who loves to fish, hunt, and kayak. He is married with two grown children and two grandchildren. While he admits that he is “semi-retired”, Dr. Marino is excited to use his skills to serve Union County and looks forward to using his numerous years of experience to provide essential podiatry care to our area.
