2026 Flu & COVID Vaccine Clinic Dates
Get your Flu and COVID vaccines at UCGH this fall during one of our vaccine clinics, held on select dates at the Union County General Hospital North Lobby and Des Moines Health Center.
Flu shots will be given for a donation of 3 non-perishable food items. (Please no expired items, thank you.) The donations will be used for Rotary Club Holiday food baskets. The High Dose flu shot will be available for 65 years (+) upon request for $85.00 (cash or check) for self-pay adults, however if you have commercial insurance, Medicare and/or Medicaid, we will accept your insurance with NO out-of-pocket fee from you (just bring your insurance card with you). If you cannot afford the self-pay cost and you do not have insurance, please call 575-374-0575 for us to help you find available doses through another means. ADULT COVID Vaccine: COVID Vaccine is no longer being provided by the federal government. The COVID Vaccine will be available for $175 (cash or check) for self-pay adults, however if you have commercial insurance, Medicare and/or Medicaid, we will accept your insurance with NO out-of-pocket fee from you (just bring your insurance card with you). If you cannot afford the self-pay cost and you do not have insurance, please call 575-374-0575 for us to help you find available doses through another means. FLU & COVID Children’s doses will be available through the Vaccinations for Children’s (VFC) through the Union County Health Center at no charge. Please call 575-374-2273 for more information. Location Change: This year the flu drive will be held in the North Lobby of the hospital. If you are unable to safely come inside the lobby to receive your vaccine and fill out paperwork, please call 575-374-2585 during the clinic hours and accommodations can be made.
